Diego López: "I'm really happy with what we Valencia CF players are contributing to the Spanish national team"
The Valencia CF forward is through to the U21 EURO quarter-finals
The Valencia CF squad return to work on Monday with their sights set on their LaLiga encounter against Villarreal CF (Sunday, October 18th, 4pm CEST). All players in the group are committed to the task at hand, and all have a chance to feature in coach Javi Gracia's plans.
In the first five matchdays of the season, all of the first team squad's outfield players have enjoyed minutes. Some 23 squad members have participated thus far, as the coach uses rotations and a run of fixtures to run the rule over those at his disposal.
José Luis Gayà, Jaume Doménech and Daniel Wass are the only players to have been on the pitch for every minute available to date. Maxi Gómez and Geoffrey Kondogbia have also been nearly ever-present.
Those who have had limited opportunities at the start of 2020/21 are made to feel important by their inclusion in the coach's plans, and are committed to taking their moment to shine.
